Description:
Zero M Water Shield IWC+ is a specially designed liquid integral waterproofing compound based on modified polymers, enhancers & plasticizers. It is supplied in a light yellow solution which is instantly dispersible in water. Zero M Water Shield IWC+ is used in cement concrete, mortar & plasters which makes concrete cohesive & prevents segregation. It is compatible with all types of cement.
Area of application:-
Zero M Water Shield IWC+ is recommended for:
- Structural concrete,mortar,columns & beams Repair & renovation
- Water-retaining structures, basements,& water tanks
- Flat, slope roof slabs & screeds Internal/external plaster
- Bathrooms, balconies, sumps & in drains
Instruction and use :
Step-1: Add cement & aggregates (coarse & fine) to concrete mixer as per the mix design; mix in dry state for 1-2 min
Step-2: Add 60-70% of the total water & mix 2-3 min
Step-3: Add recommended dosage of Zero M Water Shield IWC+ (200 ml/50 kg cement bag) into the remaining water & add to concrete mixer & mix foranother 2-3 min.
Precautions:-
- With all chemical products, care must be taken during use & storage to avoidcontact with eyes & skin. Treat splashes to eyes & skin properly. Keep away fromchildren & animals. Reseal containers after use.
Advantage:
- Better dispersion of cement particles & increased cohesion minimize segregation & bleeding
- Lower permeability results in increased durability and better adhesion reinforcing & stressing steel
- Chloride-free, hence, safe in reinforced concrete
- Reduces shrinkage, & crack development in concrete & plaster
Curing
- Normal concrete curing practices to be followed, it is recommended to cure concrete properly in windy, hot & dry climates.
Storage and Shelf life:-
- Shelf life is 24 months from the date of production when product is stored between 5°C to 50°C. Store under cover, out of direct sunlight & protect from extremes of temperatures
